Handcrafted by Expertise, Guided by Passion
Oh!Boo Chocolates is the culmination of Maître Chocolatier Fanny Chan's lifelong dedication to the art and science of chocolate making. With a background in microbiology and food science, Fanny ventured to Belgium and France to immerse herself in the world of fine chocolate, training under esteemed chocolatiers. There, she mastered the intricate technique of "layering", where complementary and contrasting flavours are meticulously combined to create a harmonious and evolving taste experience.

Upon returning to Australia, Fanny, alongside her brother Alex Chan, opened Boon Chocolates in Darlinghurst in 2008. This boutique quickly gained acclaim for its luxurious pralines and innovative flavour combinations, such as the Tasmanian PepperBerry praline, which artfully blended white chocolate ganache with strawberry and Tasmanian mountain pepperberry.

In 2016, seeking to evolve their vision, the boutique relocated to Barangaroo, giving birth to Oh!Boo Chocolates. This new chapter retained their commitment to artisanal craftsmanship while embracing a broader palette of flavours and expanding the range into wider offering of handcrafted chocolate experiences.
Today, every Oh!Boo chocolate is handcrafted in small batches, using premium couverture and natural ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. Fanny's creations are a testament to herartistic flair, precision and pure passion, offering a multisensory journey that delights and surprises with every bite.
